The farm buildings belonging to Mr. Elbridge Libby on the side of Sabattus Lake opposite the village were completely destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. At the time the fire was discovered no one was about the place but Mrs. Frank E. Spofford and a lady friend, who was visiting there at the time. It is supposed that the building caught fire from a spark in the chimney as the fire was first discovered on the shed. The ladies made every effort to save the buildings but their endeavors were fruitless.
