Obituary
Mrs. Marth V., wife of Elbridge Libby, passed away early Sunday morning, Feb. 17. Mrs. Libby was born Sept. 3, 1829, being the daughter of Nathaniel and Elizabeth Getchell, and the youngest of a family of three sons and three daughters. Of her three children only one now living, Mrs. Henry Aunis of Wales.
Mrs. Libby has been a great sufferer for many years. She leaves a faithful husband who is very sick, and affectionate daughter, four grand-children, saddened by the calling away of one who was very dear to them. The funeral service was held at the residence Tuesday afternoon, attended by a number of sympathizing neighbors and friends.
The deceased was 80 years, 6 months, 14 days.
