ROBIN (L'abbé Basile), né à la Baie-du-Febvre, comté d'Yamaska, le 2 août' 1823, d'Antoine Robin et d'Angèle Bazin, fit ses études à Nicolet et fut ordonné à Québec, le 30 août 1847. Vicaire à la Baie-du-Febvre (1847-1848), à Nicolet (1848), à la Baie-du-Febvre encore (1848), à Gentilly (1848), à la Jeune-Lorette (1848), aux Grondines (1848-1849), à Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly (1849-1856); premier curé de Saint-Flavien (1856-1859); curé de Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly (1859-1894), où il se retire (1894-1902); retiré à Bienville (1902-1906), où il est décédé le 21 décembre 1906.
