Jean-Baptiste SIMARD  was born 25 February 1781 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul-de-Baie-Saint-Paul).  Jean-Baptiste died 23 September 1849 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (St-Johns) (Dorchester).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of Joseph-Godefroy SIMARD and Felicite CÔTÉ.
