Edouard  married  Marie-Rosalie RICHARD 5 February 1833 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada .  Marie-Rosalie RICHARD  was born 11 August 1816 in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Rosalie died 17 January 1841 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Marie-Rosalie was the child of Joseph RICHARD and Marie-Desanges-Archange BRO (BREAULT) (BRAULT).

Edouard GAUVIN died 17 March 1899 in St-Thomas-d´Aquin Montérégie, Québec, Canada.
