Basile POITRAS  was born 27 May 1791 in L'Islet, Québec, Canada (L'Islet-sur-Mer) (Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours).  Basile died 7 May 1876 in Saint-Sauveur, Québec, Canada.  Basile was the child of Jean POITRAS and Genevieve COUILLARD.
