The Lewiston Daily Sun, September 24, 1909

Robert Stewart, aged 78 years, passed away at his home on Sabattus Road yesterday afternoon. He had been ill but a short time. His wife died a few years ago. He leaves four sons, Richard, Robert, Samuel and Joseph all of Lewiston and one daughter Isabelle Atcheson of Pawtucket, R. I. Also one sister, Mrs. John Holland of Lewiston.

Mr. Stewart was a member of Trinity Church and a member of Robonni Lodge, F. and A. M., of this city. He had been a resident of Lewiston for 53 years, was well known and highly respected.
