Shortly after 4 o'clock P.M., Saturday, Sept. 18th, Nathan Cole ceased to live. He was born in the state of Massachusetts, Oct 15th 1786 and dwelt there till he reached man's estate, when he westward with the course of empire took his way, and located in western New York, and there lived til '36, when Ohio appeared as a beacon light to him. Here he came and settled in this county and lived until he reached the ripe old age of almost 89 years, a respected trusted farmer. He leaves a wife and several sons and daughters to mourn this loss. The funeral took place, Sunday, afternoon at the Baptist church.
