Robert CHORET (CHOURET) was the child of Mathieu CHORET (CHOURET) and Sebastienne (Bastienne) VEILLON

Marriage not found on this date at Notre-Dame-de-Quebec in Drouin Collection -- Marriage also not found on this date at Saint-Famille -- records are not very complete for this timeframe -- the marriage likely occurred at Saint-Famille. Marie Magdelaine's father died there in the January following this marriage.

PRDH indicates that a marriage contract was signed between Robert Choret and Marie Madeleine Paradis in 1674 in an undetermined place in Quebec, Canada.

"Marie-Madeleine was born on 12 January 1656 and baptized four days later at Quebec. She married Robert Charest, son of Mathieu and of Sebastienne Veillon, on 22 April 1674 at Ile d'Orleans. The contract was notarized the same day by Vachon. They had six chilren, four boys and two girls. Marie-Madeleine died and was buried on 2 September 1684 at Saint-Pierre. Robert married for a second time to Marguerite Lerouge with whom he had eleven more children."
