Obituary
Earle D. Mason, 82, of Marksfield Road, died Thursday at Humana Hospital Suburban. He was retired owner of the old Mason Transfer Co., an Army veteran of World War I and a member of Masonic Lodge 896 and Zachary Taylor Post of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude M. Mason; two daughters, Mrs. Ervin A. McClain and Mrs. Charles F. Roederer; a brother, Lewis G. Mason of Austin, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Walter Turner of Westboro, Mass.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The body was cremated. A memorial service at Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church will be private. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Bellewood Presbyterian Home for Children in Anchorage. Pearson's is In charge of arrangements.
