Pierre GIROUX  was born 19 July 1747 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Pierre died 15 December 1805 in L'Acadie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie).  Pierre was the child of Jean-Baptiste GIROUX dit DESFOURCHETTES and Catherine LONGTIN.

Marie-Josephte  married  (2) Étienne DUQUET 20 January 1807 in L'Acadie, Lower Canada .  Étienne DUQUET  was born 31 August 1772 in La Prairie, Québec, Canada (St-Philippe) (St-Jean-François-Régis) (La Nativité).  Étienne was the child of Andre DUQUET and Marie-Angélique BABEU.

Marie-Josephte CHARLAND died 11 December 1854 in Lacolle, Canada East .
