Biography
'Louis, baptized at Quebec on 3 August 1653; died in 1708 or before. Married (contract Duquet, 28 January 1680) to Simone Maufay (1663-1745), daughter of Pierre and of Marie Duval (3 sons and 6 daughters). After Louis's death, Simone was remarried at Montreal on 7 February 1718 (contract Jean-Baptiste Adhemar, the day before) to Jacques Chevaudier, son of Jean and of Marie Mercier. Simone was buried at Montreal on 11 March 1745.'
