Vital FORTIN was the child of Joseph FORTIN   and   Marie-Silvie TREMBLAY and the grandchild of: (paternal)  François-Xavier FORTIN and Marie-Madeleine TREMBLAY (maternal)  Charles TREMBLAY and Felicite DUCHESNE

Vital  married  Antoinette GAGNON 14 August 1810 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 4 children.
Antoinette GAGNON  was born 30 April 1790 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul-de-Baie-Saint-Paul).  Antoinette died 10 March 1867 in Chicoutimi-Nord, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Anne de Chicoutimi).  Antoinette was the child of Augustin GAGNON and Therese TREMBLAY.

Vital FORTIN died 24 January 1844 in Les Éboulements, Canada East .
