The remains of Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, the estimable wife of Daniel Anderson of near Centerfield, will be brought to the M. E. Church at this place at 11 o'clock today for funeral services in order to accommodate the numerous relatives that reside in this region.
The body will be laid to rest in the cemetery just east of town, where sleeps the dust of her parents, her former husband, her daughter, Emma, and other loved ones.
She was born November 23, 1835, and was a daughter of James W. and Catharine Roads. She grew to womanhood in this vicinity and was married to Ishmael Rains. To them were born 2 children,
Wilson H. and Emma C.
After a few years of happy wedded life, the young husband died September 15, 1862. The daughter, Emma, is also dead.
Wilson is a prosperous business man in the city of Chicago.
