Joseph-Marie  married  Geneviève BOLDUC 19 April 1762 in Saint-Joachim, Montmorency, Canada .  Geneviève BOLDUC  was born abt. 1743 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Geneviève died 14 February 1763 in Cap-St-Ignace, Québec, Canada (Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola).  Geneviève was the child of Louis BOLDUC and Agnes LEBLOND.

Joseph-Marie  married  (2) Madeleine BERNIER 2 July 1764 in Cap-St-Ignace, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Madeleine BERNIER  was born 19 May 1742 in Cap-St-Ignace, Québec, Canada (Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola).  Madeleine died 4 January 1784 in Montmagny, Québec, Canada (Saint-Thomas) (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire).  Madeleine was the child of Pierre BERNIER and Marie-Louise GUIMOND.

Joseph-Marie LAVOIE died 11 August 1799 in L'Islet, Lower Canada .
