'Pierre was born on 26 May 1671 at Beauport and baptized five days later at Quebec. He married Marie-Catherine Soulard, daughter of Jean and of Catherine Boutet, on 5 March 1696 at Quebec... Pierre died and was buried on 12 August 1699 at Quebec. Catherine married for a second time to Louis Garneau with whom she had four more children.'
