Biography
'Michel, born at Charlesbourg and baptized at Quebec on the first of October 1670; died on the 24th in the village of Saint-Charles and buried at Charlesbourg on 25 March 1711 (40 years old). Married in this parish on 12 June 1692 (contract Chambalon, 19 May), to Marguerite Coeur (1673-1761), daughter of Pierre Coeur dit Jolicoeur and of Elisabeth Marchand (1 son, 5 daughters, and 1 anonymous son). Marguerite was remarried at Charlesbourg on 5 April 1712 (contract Duprac, 29 March), to Francois Bedard (1671-1741), widower of Marie-Madeleine Auclair and already the father of eleven children. She brought into the word two more children: Marguerite-Elisabeth, who died in the cradle and Francois-Michel, who has descendants.'
