Jean-François PROVENCHER  was born 1 February 1674 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marie-Madeleine).  Jean-François died 2 February 1734 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Jean-François was the child of Sebastien PROVENCHER and Marguerite MANCHON.
