Jean-Baptiste  married  Marie-Luce FORTIN 29 October 1782 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Luce FORTIN  was born 18 September 1760 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul-de-Baie-Saint-Paul).  Marie-Luce died 16 June 1834 in Beaumont, Québec, Canada (Saint-Étienne-de-Beaumont).  Marie-Luce was the child of Jacques FORTIN and Angélique TREMBLAY.

Jean-Baptiste CHABOT died 31 July 1828 in Beaumont, Lower Canada .
