Julien  married  Marie NAVERS 7 February 1736 in Château-Richer, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Marie NAVERS  was born 8 December 1712 in Château-Richer, Québec, Canada (La Visitation-de-Notre-Dame de Chateau-Richer).  Marie died 23 September 1781 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Marie was the child of Jean-Baptiste NAVERS and Marie-Françoise SAUVIN dite LAROSE.

Julien FORTIN died 1 November 1772 in Saint-Joachim, Montmorency, Province of Québec, Canada.
