Joseph CAYA (CAILLA) was the child of Pierre CAILLA (CAILLE) (CAILLEAU) (CAYA)   and   Marie-Thérèse HOURAY (HOURE) (AURE) and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Pierre CAILLA (CAILLE) (CAILLEAU) (CAYA) and Marie-Olive LANDRY (maternal)  René HOURE dit GRANDMONT (AURE) and Marie-Denise DAMANÉ

Joseph  married  Marie-Anne TROTTIER dite BEAUBIEN 16 August 1739 in Nicolet, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 6 children.
Marie-Anne TROTTIER dite BEAUBIEN  was born 22 September 1717 in Rivière-du-Loup, Québec, Canada (Fraserville) (Riviere du Loup en Bas) (Saint-Patrice).  Marie-Anne died 17 April 1776 in Baie-du-Fèbvre, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Baie-du-Febvre).  Marie-Anne was the child of Michel-Louis TROTTIER dit BEAUBIEN and Marie-Thérèse MOUET DE MORAS.

Joseph CAYA (CAILLA) died abt. 1759 in Québec Province, Canada.





Died before his wife's 2nd marriage (March 1761)
