Joseph  married  Charlotte BERGERON 27 October 1765 in Batiscan, Province of Québec, Canada .  Charlotte BERGERON  was born 26 August 1742 in Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly, Québec, Canada.  Charlotte died 15 October 1797 in Montréal, Québec, Canada (Sault-au-Récollet) (Côte-St-Michel) (Côte-St-Paul).  Charlotte was the child of Jean-Baptiste BERGERON and Catherine-Delphine JEREMIE dite DOUVILLE.

Joseph RIVARD died 15 April 1803 in Montréal, Lower Canada .
