ROBERT FURNESS
OXFORD, Feb. 10. - Robert Furness, 78, died this afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Jackoviak in Howarth's Village.
Mr. Furness was born in England but had lived in this town for 28 years. He was the son of George and Martha (Hinchcliffe) Furness. He was a loom repairer and was a former church organist in Worcester.
He leaves four daughter, Mrs. Sarah Jaskoviak and Mrs. Ida Lowe of Oxford; Mrs. Anna Wells of Mystic, Conn., Mrs. Francis Langway of Charlton; on son, Frank Furness of East Douglas, 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the home on Friday afternoon at 2 with Rev. Harry G. Butler of West Auburn officiating. Burial will be in the Gore Cemetery in charge of Undertaker Fred H. Lullman.
