Nicolas BROUSSEAU (BROSSEAU)  was born 25 May 1676 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marie-Madeleine).  Nicolas died 13 January 1736 in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Québec, Canada.  Nicolas was the child of Julien BROSSEAU dit LAVERDURE and Simone CHALIFOUR (CHALIFOUX).
