Joseph AURE dit GRANDMOT  was born 9 November 1760 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Joseph died 22 December 1823 in Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean-Baptiste) .  Joseph was the child of Joseph GRANDMONT and Madeleine TROTTIER dite BELCOURT.
