Etienne SIMARD  was born 20 October 1788 in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul-de-Baie-Saint-Paul).  Etienne was the child of Honore-Timothee-Louis SIMARD and Geneviève GAUTHIER dite LAROUCHE.
