Simon DEFAILLET  was born 27 October 1771 in Chambly, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly).  Simon died 12 July 1824 in L'Acadie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie).  Simon was the child of Pierre DEFAILLET and Marie-Josephe PAQUET dite LARIVIERE.
