Basile  married  Josephte COTE 22 January 1788 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Province of Québec, Canada .  Josephte COTE  was born 17 February 1767 in Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Québec, Canada .  Josephte died 17 April 1834 in Berthier-sur-Mer, Québec, Canada (Berthier-en-Bas) (Berthier).  Josephte was the child of Augustin COTE and Marie-Josephte COUTURE.

Basile RATTÉ (RATE) died 15 March 1829 in Saint-Gervais, Bellechasse, Lower Canada .
