Pierre-Stanislas BEDARD was the child of Pierre-Stanislas BEDARD dit BOULANGER and Marie-Josephe THIBAULT and the grandchild of: (paternal) Charles-François BÉDARD and Suzanne-Elisabeth HUPPE (maternal) Joseph THIBAULT and Marie-Louise JEANPierre-Stanislas BEDARD died abt. 1829 in Trois-Rivières, Lower Canada .
Bédard, Pierre-Stanislas (1762-1829). Avocat en 1790, homme politique et auteur. Député du comté de Northumberland en 1792, 1796, 1800 et 1804. Chef du Parti canadien. Il fonda le journal Le Canadien en 1806. Député pour la Basse-Ville de Québec en 1808 et en 1809. Puis encore en 1809, député du comté de Surrey au Parlement du Bas-Canada et à la Basse-Ville de Québec de nouveau en 1810. Emprisonné sur l'ordre du gouverneur pour « pratiques traîtresses » en 1810. Élu encore dans Surrey alors qu'il est en prison. Capitaine de milice à la Guerre de 1812. Juge de la Cour du banc du roi à Trois-Rivières en 1812.

- Fils de Pierre-Stanislas Bédard et de Marie-Josephe Thibault.
- Il épousa Jeanne-Françoise-Frémiot-Chantal-Luce-Louise Lajus à Québec en 1796.
- Père de Pierre-Hospice (1797), Luce-Delphine (1798), Elzéar (1799), Monique-Hortense (1801), Guillaume-Hubert (1802), Angélique-Louise (1804), Isidore (1806), René-Zoël (1807), Adélaïde (1809), Louise-Aglaë (1811), François-Zoël (1812) et Eugène (1814).
- Décédé à Trois-Rivières et inhumé dans l'église Immaculée-Conception.
