Louis  married  Francoise PELLETIER 16 February 1767 in La Pocatière, Province of Québec, Canada .  Francoise PELLETIER  was born 13 October 1743 in Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies, Québec, Canada.  Francoise died 25 March 1817 in L'Islet, Québec, Canada (L'Islet-sur-Mer) (Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours).  Francoise was the child of François PELLETIER and Geneviève MORNEAU.

Louis FORTIN died 6 May 1828 in L'Islet, Lower Canada .
