Charles  married  Louise BOURBEAU dite BEAUCHENE 31 March 1761 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Canada .  Louise BOURBEAU dite BEAUCHENE  was born 9 October 1740 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Louise died 27 January 1822 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Louise was the child of Pierre BOURBEAU dit LACOURSE and Marie-Louise MASSICOTTE (MASSICOT).

Charles HAMEL died 28 April 1800 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Lower Canada .
