Joseph  married  Marie HAMEL 24 April 1758 in Sainte-Croix, Lotbinière, Canada, New France .  Marie HAMEL  was born abt. 1726 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Marie died 11 June 1793 in Sainte-Croix, Lotbinière, Québec, Canada.  Marie was the child of Louis HAMEL and Marie-Françoise HOUDE dite BELLEFEUILLE.

Joseph HAMEL died 16 November 1794 in Sainte-Croix, Lotbinière, Lower Canada.
