Joseph  married  Marie LECLERC 17 February 1829 in Contrecœur, Lower Canada .  Marie LECLERC  was born 25 January 1814 in Contrecœur, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur).  Marie was the child of Jean-Baptiste LECLERC and Archange LECLERC (LECLAIR) dite LAFRENAYE.

Joseph CARTIER died 27 November 1830 in Sorel, Lower Canada .
