Michel  married  Genevieve TETREAULT 24 May 1784 in Chambly, Province of Québec, Canada .  Genevieve TETREAULT  was born 7 April 1766 in Verchères, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-Xavier-de-Vercheres).  Genevieve died 10 February 1832 in Iberville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Athanase-de-Bleury).  Genevieve was the child of Joseph TETREAU (TETREAULT) dit DUCHARME and Marie-Catherine LUSSIER.

Michel LAREAU died 28 March 1827 in Chambly, Lower Canada .
