Obituary
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Collette were called to East Brimfield Tuesday by the death of their daughter, Mrs. Arthur Mantha, 35, who died of pneumonia, leaving five children and a husband to mourn her loss. She also leaves, besides her parents, three brothers and four sisters, the brother being Arthur and Freeman of Stafford Springs and Henry of Maine; the sisters - Mrs. Wilfred Pion of Stafford Springs, Mrs. Freeman Champoux and Mrs. Bona Broullard of Stafford, and Mrs. Adolph Beron of Putnam.

Asahel Griswold of Worcester, Mass. sold property at Little Alum in Brimfield to Arthur Mantha and his wife, Melvina, of Sturbridge, Mass.

This appears to be the property sold to Asahel Griswold by her father, Samuel Collette, December 27, 1911.

Death of Mrs Melvina Mantha
Mrs. Melvina Mantha, 37, wife of Arthur Mantha, died Tuesday, after a 10 days' illness with pneumonia. Mrs. Mantha was the eldes daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Collette, who survive her. Besides her husband, she leaves five children, Samuel, Flora, Ella, Louisa and Sylvia; and seven brothers and sisters, Mrs. Freeman Champoux, Mrs. Annie Brouillard, Mrs. Addie Berron, Mrs. Lydia Plou, Henry, Arthur and Freeman Collette, all now living in Stafford Springs, Ct., Mr. Mantha recently bought the large farm of his father-in-law, situated on the south side of Little Alum lake. Mrs. Mantha had lived nearly all her life in East Brimfield and Fiskdale. The funeral will be held to-morrow morning at 9 o'clock from St. Anne's church, Fiskdale.
