'[Source: Obituary of Miss Louise Cuyler Gerry, a newspaper clipping, found in Diary of Minerva (Sharman) Gray, 1962. Name of newspaper and date are not present on the clipping.]
The obituary mentions that Louise had worked in Buffalo, New York for the Larkin Company, as their personnel manager. She had also worked in Albany, New York as a Civil Service Commissioner. She was also the Zonta Club's first international president. Her survivors included four nephews and five nieces:

Brook of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Miss Christine Beckett of Calais, Maine; Miss Edith Beckett of Calais, Maine; Mrs. Fred Beard of Amherst, Massachusetts; Mrs. Townes M. Harrison of Providence, Rhode Island; and Mrs. William J. Grund of West Somerville, Massachusetts.'
