Michel  married  Françoise DESJARDINS 16 October 1770 in Saint-Eustache, Province of Québec, Canada .  Françoise DESJARDINS  was born 2 November 1747 in Terrebonne, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne).  Françoise died 22 November 1777 in Lachenaie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Charles-de-Lachenaie).  Françoise was the child of Joseph DESJARDINS and Marguerite FILIATRAULT.

Michel  married  (2) Elisabeth DESROCHES 12 April 1779 in Terrebonne, Province of Québec, Canada .  Elisabeth DESROCHES  was born 27 December 1738 in Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montréal, Québec, Canada* (L'Enfant-Jésus-de-la-Pointe-aux-Trembles).  Elisabeth died 2 August 1782 in Lachenaie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Charles-de-Lachenaie).  Elisabeth was the child of Pierre DESROCHES and Marie-Marguerite LANGLOIS dite LACHAPELLE.

Michel  married  (3) Marie-Josephte TAILLEFER 13 September 1784 in Rivière-des-Prairies, Montréal, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Josephte TAILLEFER  was born 4 March 1764 in Rivière-des-Prairies, Montréal, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rivière-des-Prairies)*.  Marie-Josephte was the child of Jacques TAILLEFER and Josephte DAUNAIS dite LAFRENIERE.

Michel MATTE died 16 January 1811 in Sainte-Thérèse, Lower Canada .
