Joseph-Alexis  married  Thérèse LUCAS dite DONTIGNY 24 January 1752 in Champlain, Canada, New France .  Thérèse LUCAS dite DONTIGNY  was born 5 July 1729 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Thérèse died 10 November 1765 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Thérèse was the child of François LUCAS dit DONTIGNY and Marie-Josephte CAYA (CAILLA).

Joseph-Alexis  married  (2) Marguerite SAVOIE 1 February 1767 in Champlain, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 1 child.
Marguerite SAVOIE  was born abt. 1751 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  Marguerite died 8 December 1773 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Marguerite was the child of Honore SAVOIE and Marie Anne COMEAU.

Joseph-Alexis DUTEAU died 15 March 1777 in Champlain, Province of Québec, Canada .
