Francois  married  Marguerite DOUCET 18 November 1764 in Champlain, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marguerite DOUCET  was born abt. 1740 in Acadia, Canada (Acadie).  Marguerite died 8 May 1792 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Marguerite was the child of Pierre DOUCET and Marie Anne RICHARD.

Francois BIGOT died 11 December 1806 in Champlain, Lower Canada .
