Louis  married  Madeleine SIMON dite LEONARD 24 January 1780 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Province of Québec, Canada .  Madeleine SIMON dite LEONARD  was born 29 June 1725 in Longue-Pointe, Montréal, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-d'Assise-de-la-Longue-Pointe).  Madeleine died 13 July 1788 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (Pointe-Olivier).  Madeleine was the child of Francois SIMON dit LEONARD and Suzanne CHAPERON.

Louis LAVOIE died 2 September 1794 in Beloeil, Lower Canada .
