Ignace DIZY dit MONTPLAISIR  was born 17 June 1692 in Champlain, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation).  Ignace died 5 June 1731 in La Visitation-de-l'Île-Dupas, Québec, Canada (Isle Dupas).  Ignace was the child of Michel-Ignace DIZY dit MONTPLAISIR and Marie-Jeanne BAUDOIN (BEAUDOIN).
