Biography
Né en la paroisse Saint-François-du-Lac le 15 novembre 1785, Pierre Bazin était le fils de Pierre et de Dame Û dit Latraverse. Il fut reçu notaire en date du 1er avril 1809. Le 19 février 1811, il épousait Thérèse Méthot à Louiseville. De 1809 à 1847, le notaire Bazin a exercé successivement à Trois-Rivières et à Louiseville. Il est décédé le 7 avril 1847 à Louiseville.
