Témoin à la liberté de mariage de Christophe Schaeffer (Archevêché de Québec). Certificat de liberté de mariage le 26 janvier 1789 (Archevêché de Québec), 32 ans, d’Oxstedt, en Allemagne. Maître menuisier, fils de Joseph & Marie-Anne Schilling, de la ville et duché (province) d’Erxstedt, marié le 13 janvier 1789 (ct 11 A. Dumas) à Notre-Dame de Québec avec Gertrude Chamberlan (Prisque & Marie-Anne Vivier) ; 6 enfants dont ses filles : Eliza qui épouse Edouard Bourassa et Félicité qui épouse Louis Durand ; son fils Cyriac épouse Christine Dianais le 17 octobre 1835 à Chicoutimi (mission du Poste du roi).
