CONNERY, James Michael, Jr.
James Michael Connery, Jr., 77, of East Hartford, died Saturday, (January 19, 2002) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hartford, on July 12, 1924, the son of the late James M. and Maude (Cooley) Connery and lived in East Hartford for the last 50 years. James was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and served as a medic and was a purple heart recipient; he was a retired plater with Aero-Hart & Hegeman. James leaves his loving wife, Constance (Blessing) Connery of East Hartford; a daughter, Susan Novak of Enfield; three sons, David Ccnnery of Coventry, James Connery and Jack Connery, both of East Hartford; two sisters, Esther Suiter of Farmington, and Betty Clark of East Hartford; two brothers, Donald Connery of Wallingford, and Gene Connery of East Hartford; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside service will be held Monday, January 28, 11 a.m. at the Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
