Lillian Elsie HOLMANDER
2005 Death of her brother



Born in Cranston, a son of the late Eric H. and Maria (Abrahams) Holmander, he was a lifelong resident of Warwick.

He was a Navy veteran, serving in World War II.

Mr. Holmander had been a forestry technician for the RI Division of Environmental Management, and prior to his employment with the state he served as an aircraft mechanic at Quonset Naval Air Station.

He was a member of Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, a member of the National Rifle Association and the Wincheck Gun Club and The Little Rhody Rovers Motorcycle Club.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Kelley M. Holmander, and a son Keith R. Holmander, both of West Kingston; a sister, Lillian E. Baker of Warwick; a brother, Eric J. Holmander of East Greenwich; and two grandchildren.He was the brother of the late John H. Holmander.

His funeral was held from Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95), with a Requiem Eucharist in Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, 3257 Post Road, Warwick.
