Obituary
THOMPSON - Lovina B. (Lachapelle) Prince, 85, of Riverside Drive, Pineview Court, Grosvenor Dale, died yesterday in Fogarty Memorial Hospital, North Smithfield, R.I.
Her husband, Homer I. Prince, died May 11. Mr. and Mrs. Prince observed their 60th wedding anniversary last Sept. 1.
She leaves a daughter, Shirley Houghton of Thompson two brothers, Alvin Lachapelle of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Raymond Lachapelle of Putnam seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was born in New Bedford, daughter of Adelard and Pamela (Langlois) Lachapelle, and lived here most of her life. She then lived 18 years in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before returning here in 1987.
Mrs. Prince worked for many years in the finishing department of the former Risom Mfg. Co. in North Grosvenordale, retiring in 1959.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in North Grosvenordale.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 18 Main St., North Grosvenordale....Read MORE...
