Joseph  married  Geneviève-Félicité BEAUMONT 25 October 1751 in Charlesbourg, Québec, Canada, New France .  The couple had (at least) 5 children.
Geneviève-Félicité BEAUMONT  was born 29 March 1733 in Charlesbourg, Québec, Québec, Canada (Bourg Royal).  Geneviève-Félicité died 5 May 1810 in Saint-Ambroise-de-la-Jeune-Lorette, Québec, Canada (Loretteville).  Geneviève-Félicité was the child of Pierre BEAUMONT and Marie-Anne JEAN dite GODON.

Joseph PENISSON died 3 April 1803 in Saint-Ambroise-de-la-Jeune-Lorette, Lower Canada .
