CHARLTON - Alfred G. Krueger, 95, of North Main Street, died yesterday in Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 61 years, Esther (Fitts) Krueger two brothers-in-law, Clark Fitts of Leicester and Noble Fitts of Southbridge nephews and nieces. He was born in Dudley, son of Herman and Anna (Jesse) Krueger, and moved to Charlton in 1935.

He retired from the American Optical Co. in Southbridge. He was a member of the Worcester Bee Keepers Association.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge. Burial will be in West Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours are 9 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Charlton Federated Church, Main Street, PO Box 70, Charlton 01507.
