Jean-Francois  married  Genevieve BOURGAULT (BOURGEOT) 24 July 1786 in Lavaltrie, Province of Québec, Canada .  Genevieve BOURGAULT (BOURGEOT)  was born 25 January 1765 in Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec, Canada (Saint-François-de-Sales-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud).  Genevieve died 6 September 1804 in Lavaltrie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine).  Genevieve was the child of Quentin BOURGAULT (BOURGEOT) and Marie-Geneviève GUYON.

Jean-Francois  married  (2) Marie-Clemence PAQUET dite LAVALLÉE 29 July 1805 in Repentigny, Lower Canada .  Marie-Clemence PAQUET dite LAVALLÉE  was born abt. 1770 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Marie-Clemence died 26 March 1820 in Lavaltrie, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine).  Marie-Clemence was the child of Jean-Baptiste PAQUET dit LAVALLÉE and Marie-Marguerite GUILBAULT.

Jean-Francois HETU died 18 June 1820 in Lavaltrie, Lower Canada .
