Earle N. Mason Sr.

WARWICK, R.I. -- Earle N. Mason Sr., 88, of Homeland Avenue, died at home, Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2001.

He was the widower of Dorothy I. (Curtis) Mason.

Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Louise (Theinert) and Edgar A. Mason Sr. He was a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church.

Mr. Mason worked for E.A. Mason and Son Dairy until 1958 and as a postal worker for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years, retiring in 1983.

He was a member of the Buttonwood Senior Center.

He was an avid bowler and cribbage player and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include two sons, Henry J. Mason of Escondido, Calif., and Earle N. Mason Jr., of Westport, Mass.; a daughter, Louise R. Norcliffe of Warwick; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was the brother of the late Edgar A. Mason Jr., Elizabeth P. Mason and Beatrice W. Edwards.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800-812...Read MORE...
